Summer is special because of its simplicity. As much as I love teaching, I’m not quite ready to get back to school; almost there, but not quite. I’m thankful for a week and a half more of rest.

Brittany Kay, Did you do that chalk drawing? It’s so lovely! You have always been a very good artist. You really should do something with that. Maybe art classes?? You might become rich and famous!

I did it while I was babysitting the other day. Art classes would be fun, and so would being rich and famous. I might need to think about that…
